We are on the home stretch of our €800 goal as we close in on much needed funding for our online advertising and filming costs in order to bring you our best Virtual Hafla yet in our festivals!
Shakeadelic Music Night – Saturday, May 8th @8pm
Who needs a night ‘out’ (what is ‘out’ these days???) at the end of the week? Even if its to sit back and relax and connect with friends, even if it has to be via Zoom – we can all use a night on the weekend to relax and listen to some groovy tunes together with a few beverages of choice and a catchup chat after.
Join Darrendajourney (of Irish Burner Decom) as he creates some crazy experimental electronica from 8-8:30pm using analog main sequencers, synths, drum machine, keyboard and TB03 which creates an ‘iconic acid sound’ from the 80’s and 90’s…
Right after, enjoy a chilled Reggae + set from Johnny Fallon of ‘The Art House’ Daingean – Johnny started doing some much needed online sets at the beginning of Lockdown last spring and we are thrilled that he is back to make an appearance at Shakeadelic.
Tickets are just €7 through Eventbrite Here
Once you have your Eventbrite ticket, we’ll send you the Zoom invite link.
Thanks to both Darrendajourney and Johnny for contributing to our Shakefest fundraiser. We only have a €200 goal remaining to complete in order to cover video production, venue and online advertising costs and we hope you will find it easy to help us get there with such amazing tunes!

We walked the the length of Tullamore Town Park 12 times to make up to 10km walking marathon, as well, Ciara Kinnarney was shreddin’ in her cow milkery with her skateboard in Killurin for an hour while Darrendajourney provided us with some cool improvised tunes via Zoom. Thanks to all who donated, we were able to reach our €200 goal!
